A local example of gender equality in the Arab world is an agreement between Aramco and Princess Noura University to establish a business center with an integrated female staff to provide services such as information technology. This center serves many sectors such as the health care sector and the oil and gas sector . Princess Noura University seeks to invest its potential and energies to achieve enlightenment of the reality of Saudi women with knowledge, values and work and to raise their percentage in the labor market, in addition to SABIC as well. SABIC noticed a lack of possibilities for women to study scientific, technical and engineering fields. In 2019, it launched a scholarship program for high school graduates to ensure that they could continue education and find more job opportunities. Make SABIC the preferred destination for women working in the chemical fields, and this initiative enables women to take leadership positions and make them role models for others
